Lesmurdie SHS primarily communicates with parents/carers through two online programs, Connect and Compass. Whilst we also use email, text messages, phone-calls, letters and Facebook to communicate, we strongly encourage parents to get on board with Connect and Compass as these are our primary methods of communication.
- Connect was developed by the Department of Education WA for staff, students and parents in public schools.
- Connect is our chosen platform for student learning and general communication. This is where students can access their course/subject and assessment outlines as well as learning resources as selected by the class teacher. This is also where students can access their assessment results.
- Students and parents can check Connect for notices from school staff regarding key dates, school events and other important information. Our school policies are also available on Connect.
- Upon commencing enrolment of your child, you will receive email correspondence with login information and details to set up your account for both Compass and Connect.
