Year 10 examinations are scheduled for Week 4-5, Term 2 (May 20 to 27 May 2016)
Formal examinations provide students with the opportunity to demonstrate the depth of understanding of work covered over an extended period of time. It also provides students with first hand experience of formal examination procedures. The examination results, in conjunction with other assessment results and staff knowledge of student engagement and understandings will form the basis for Senior School Course Selections in Week 9 Term 2.
English, Mathematics, Science and Humanities and Social Sciences (MESH) exams will be conducted in the Performing Arts Centre/E Block on Thursday 26th and Friday 27th May. Please see below for examination schedule. Normal timetable continues where an exam is not scheduled. Examinations in other courses will be conducted during scheduled class time with teachers informing students of the scheduled examination period.

Students will be provided with examination schedule and exam procedure information during Week 3. Students enrolled in the Year 10 SSEP program will not be examined in MESH subjects.
Where a student is sick and unable to sit an examination parents are requested to contact the respective Head of Learning Area to arrange an alternate exam time. A medical certificate may be required.
Examination results will be included in Semester 1 Reports.
Students are advised to have a study schedule to ensure they are adequately prepared for their examinations.
