Parent Teacher Evening

Lesmurdie SHS will be hosting Parent Teacher Conferences from 3.30pm to 7.00pm, Thursday 30 July, 2020.

Interviews will be of 10 minutes duration which allows for 8 minutes of dialogue and 2 minutes for transitioning to other appointments.

Students attend school on this day and are encouraged to attend interviews with parents following a normal timetabled day.

For these interviews we will be using Compass student information platform. Shortly you will receive an email detailing your username and password corresponding to your particular details. Use this to log into the Compass Parent Portal.

Accessing the system is as follows-:

  • Bookings will be open from 8.00am, Monday 20 July until 3.00pm, Tuesday 28 July.

Fill in your details and use it as a guide to assist you in booking your appointments

 

Please note the following points-:

  • Please be sure to stay within our time constraints. Prolonging your meeting will negatively impact all other appointments afterwards – please be courteous. If you require further discussion please negotiate another more convenient date and time
    • Bookings are made for individual parents/caregivers, not for couples. Couples can however log on to the system simultaneously to coordinate bookings. If two parents/caregivers wish to attend a single interview time slot, one parent/caregiver should make the booking then both can attend
    • You will only see time slots that are available at the time you are using the system. As time slots are booked for teachers, those time slots are no longer displayed as available
    • When you have made your bookings click on the “print preview” button in the top right corner of the screen and download a copy of your bookings for your information.
  • If a teacher has requested to see you on your child’s Report, please prioritise those meetings ahead of others

 

  • On the day, signs will be placed strategically to assist you in planning your movements around the school. For convenience, all interviews will be conducted in E Block
