Staff Recognition Awards

Each year we eagerly await the WA Education Awards for the opportunity to recognise a number of our staff who excel in their work. These prestigious awards cover a wide range of categories and focus directly on acknowledging people whose professional knowledge, professional practice and overall contributions to WA Public Schools are exemplary.
Five staff have been nominated for the 2015 awards. We offer warm congratulations to them and sincerely thank them for all of the work they do to enrich our Lesmurdie school community:
- John Armstrong and Kymberley Smith [Beginning Teacher of the Year Award]
- Jane Gray [WA Education Assistant of the Year Award]
- Donna Mitchell [WA Support Staff Member of the Year Award]
- Leo Surjan [WA Secondary School Leader of the Year Award]
- Ang Teasdale and Rose Famiano [WA Secondary School Teacher of the Year Award]
Finalists in all categories will be announced in late September and the Awards Ceremony will be held later in December.
